Description

The Cisco WS-C3850-48P-L is an enterprise-grade Layer 3 managed switch designed to deliver secure, high-performance wired and wireless network access for campus, branch, and enterprise environments. It combines advanced switching, intelligent traffic management, and integrated wireless controller functionality on a single platform, simplifying network deployment and administration.

This model features 48 Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ ports with a 435W PoE power budget, allowing it to power IP phones, wireless access points, IP cameras, and other IEEE 802.3af/at-compliant devices. A modular uplink slot supports optional 1 Gigabit or 10 Gigabit network modules, providing flexible connectivity to aggregation and core network layers. Running Cisco IOS XE LAN Base software, the switch supports advanced Layer 2 switching, basic Layer 3 routing, VLANs, Quality of Service (QoS), IPv4/IPv6 networking, and enterprise security features.
